Here and Now
We live in a world that is constantly changing at such a fast pace that if you forget to stop and look, it might just pass you by. In this life, there are no second chances or going back in time. If we have dreams and desires, we need to do everything in our power and our will to go after them. Life is too short. The time to make a difference is here and now. Someone that I hold very close to my heart, once told me that the key to being successful is simply being discovered. Explore what you are good at and what sets you apart from everyone else. Do not be afraid to share your amazing skills with the rest of the world. Right now, you have the potential to be anything you want to be and do anything you dreamed of doing. The answer lies in your ability to take action and to make something happen.
This world is filled with so many endless and vast opportunities. They surround us every single day as we go on living our normal lives. We all have the special gift of being who we are, that makes each of us unique. Right here and now, take a brief moment to realize who you truly are and what you can do to share your gift with the rest of the world.
Great Post — you make some excellent points here and one that I really like is that we often forget you can’t go back in time. We need to stop thinking about the past and start thinking about the future. Once you make a decision, it is behind you and can’t be changed, so instead of dwelling on it, you should focus on the next decision in front of you.
I also like your points around focusing on what you’re good at. Everyone has strengths and everyone has weaknesses. While it is important to try and work on your weaknesses, it is even more important to build on your strengths. Strengths are what set you apart and make you the person you are, so take advantage of them. Use your strengths to grow yourself as well as assist others that might not have those strengths!!
